As it relates to the Summit, the following are the portions of the law that are the goals of the Summit:

Promote interoperable communications among public safety organizations throughout the State.

Promote cooperation among Local, Tribal, State and Federal public safety agencies, as well as Nongovernmental Organizations that are in the business of providing public safety in addressing statewide radio interoperability needs in the State.

Assist public safety entities in the development of projects, plans, policies, standards, priorities, guideline, and training for radio interoperability.

Summit Testimonials

What did you like about the Summit?

[The] opportunity to communicate with industry members and gather knowledge not usually presented at the groups I normally attend.

The speakers were very knowledgable and I am able to bring some of the information back to my home agencies. [T]he information helps me to make decisions and change in practice.

Great opportunity to network with peers.

Networking with representatives from around the state and discovering shared interests and challenges.
