The Statewide Public Safety Radio Summit is a product of the Educational and Outreach Working Group of the Public Safety Communications Subcommittee (PSCS). The PSCS is a stautorily created subcommittee under the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC) for the State of Colorado. The PSCS has several specific duties and purposes outlined in the law.
As it relates to the Summit, the following are the portions of the law that are the goals of the Summit:
Promote interoperable communications among public safety organizations throughout the State.
Promote cooperation among Local, Tribal, State and Federal public safety agencies, as well as Nongovernmental Organizations that are in the business of providing public safety in addressing statewide radio interoperability needs in the State.
Assist public safety entities in the development of projects, plans, policies, standards, priorities, guideline, and training for radio interoperability.
Our team is made up of all volunteers from across Colorado.
We represent all of the various systems and users across Colorado.
We are all dedicated to interoperable communications, no matter what system is used.
We are the support for all of our first responders.
On behalf of the Public Safety Communications Subcommittee and the Summit Planning Working Group, we want to say thank you to all of those that attended this year's Summit.
Special thanks goes out to the following people and organizations:
